Clinical Decision Support

A randomised, multimethod study with 42 UK clinicians evaluating how an AI clinical decision support system for intravenous-to-oral antibiotic switching influences prescribing decisions, and how clinicians perceive it. The final paper from my PhD.

As part of the Imperial AI Policy Fellowship programme, I presented my work and took part in a panel on AI in healthcare before governmental policy and decision makers.

Invited to give a talk to an international audiance on my work on Steward.ai, as part of a delegation showcasing the potential of AI for healthcare.

Gave a talk at ESCMID 2025 a leading global conference on infectious diseases on developing and prospectively evaluating an AI clinical decision support system.

Pitched Steward.ai as an innovative AI-powered decision support solution to disrupt antimicrobial resistance and help clinicians achieve precision antibiotic therapy.

Converted my PhD research into a mobile app that any clinician can use anywhere: an AI-driven clinical decision support system for appropriate antibiotic use.

Invited to give a talk on my PhD journey and the pathway for translating AI and machine learning systems from research settings into clinical use.

Defended my PhD thesis with no corrections.

Presented my work on evaluating clinicians perspectives and the potential impact of an AI-decision support system at ICID 2024 a leading global conference on infectious disease.

Led a workshop on the design, evaluation and intergration of AI decision support in healthcare for CAMO-Net, a Wellcome funded, multidisciplinary, global collaboration. It included giving a talk on translating AI, web-app demos, interactive questionairs and breakout exercises.
